Indian Institute of Art & Design

About IIAD

The Indian Institute of Art and Design (IIAD) in collaboration with Kingston University, London, offers four years B.A. (Hons) programmes in Fashion Design, Communication Design and Interior Architecture and Design; a three years Bachelor’s Programme in Fashion Business Management; along with two Postgraduate Programmes in Fashion Design and Fashion Business Management of two years duration each, at its world-class campus in New Delhi. The final degree is awarded by Kingston University, London.

Being the only international collaborator of Kingston University, IIAD adapts its best practices to the needs of the  students, faculty, and the overall Indian design industry.

Each year IIAD enrolls a limited number of applicants, thus ensuring a low student-faculty ratio, which gives each student open access to workspaces, sophisticated tools and quality interaction with the faculty. This helps the students develop a broad spectrum of skills and enables them to express their ideas, both independently and within a group.

Student Testimonials

Himanshi Dadhich, Interior Architecture & Design | Class of 2019

“The biggest thing for every budding designer is to get an inspiring infrastructure, exposure to the design industry and receive enormous opportunities to present their design. IIAD has given me all of these and an amazing team of mentors who have always motivated me and helped me. I like the fact that the classes are small and the curriculum includes live projects which not just opens you up to the industry but also prepares you for the design industry.”

Utkantha Chugh, Fashion Design | Class of 2019

“The curriculum being project based, helps the students to understand *SELF* better.

One of the best things about IIAD is the spotlight on INDIVIDUALITY which is helping us grow better. Studio based learning helps us understand design from various perspectives and applying what really fits the best. EVERY STUDENT IS UNIQUE IN THEIR OWN BEAUTIFUL WAY and has his own style.”
