How to Choose the Right Course

This is one of the toughest question that any student faces. Find the answer to this question
  based on  the following analysis.
  • Analyze yourself and find out what interests you most, what do you love to talk about, what do you observe the most around you, what is the ever refreshing thing that you love to do without getting tired.

  • You have to relate it to the areas of design that you really are interested in. You will find your answers when you think about your hobbies. What attracts you most, can you sit the whole night and work on and still not feel tired? You can make your hobby, your passion into your career.

  • Design is not just about good drawing. A designer need not always be a good in drawing or an artist. A designer is a person who observes and has a sense of imagination. An artist can create a beautiful flower whereas a designer would use this flower on any product to create an excellent design. Hence choose if you want to be an artist or a designer. Remember both are very different careers.

  • Analyze what you really want to do in future. If you see yourself  enjoying graphics and like watching media advertisements, etc. you could be a good graphic designer or a concept designer. Look at your strengths and weaknesses to decide upon a career which you would enjoy.

  • Talk to your friends and people who are already pursuing this course or career. Learning from someone with experience always gives a better idea about things which you wouldn't have even thought of. Ask questions!

  • Look for a course of your choice first and then find out which all institutes are offering such courses.

  • DO NOT go the other way round. REMEMBER CHOOSE A COURSE, WHICH YOU WOULD ALWAYS ENJOY.
