CEED
CEED (Common Entrance Examination for Design) is an all
India examination conducted by the Indian
Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay), on behalf of
the ministry of Human Resources Develop-
ment, Department of Education, government of India.

CEED is a qualifying examination for admission to post
graduate M.Des. Pro-grammes at the Industrial Design
Centre (IIT Bombay), {www.idc.iitb.ernet.in}.

Inter disciplinary Industrial Design Programme (IIT
Delhi) centre for Product Design.

And manufacturing (IISC Bangalore) Design Programme (IIT
kanpur).
However for IIT Kanpur and IISC Bangalore GATE (Graduate
Aptitude Test in Engineering) qualified
Candidates will also be considered.
CEED / GATE qualification in itself does not guarantee
admission to the above mentioned programmes.
Candidates also have to fulfill other requirements such as
tests and interviews of the respective instituti-
ons for admissions.
Application forms will be issued only by the GATE office, UT
Bombay, on payment of Rs 990 by Crossed Demand Draft in
favor of IIT Bombay and payable at Mumbai.
